Panoramas

A panorama is ordinarily much wider that high. Panoramas are often a vista of great scope as you can see below. In my work they are a seamless composite of several photographs that provide perspective and detail that cannot be approached any other way. They make large prints with exceptional detail and are often displayed on stretched canvas.

There are insets below two of the images to suggest something of the detail in these prints. As these samples suggest, the possibilites for this medium are vast and its impact powerful.

Prices available on request.

Great Sand Dunes National Monument - Colorado    (composite of 4)

This panorama, originally shot on large format infrared film, has been digitized and assembled from 4 separate frames to make one seamless image that will print to a length of 12 feet and beyond.

The inset, (left) showing two people -- likely a parent and child at the summit of the highest dune -- reveals something of the detail carried in this panorama

Lichens on granite - Rocky Mountain National Park - Colorado    (composite of 4)
This artwork was produced under the Artist-In-Residence Program at Rocky Mountain National Park.
The more complex the detail, the more compelling the image becomes, and it is easy to become lost in the photograph examining the intricacies of each cluster individually. This image will print to at least 2' x 4 feet.

First snow above Forest Canyon - Rocky Mountain National Park - Colorado    (composite of 5)
